Crows Nest is my favourite cosmopolitan suburb of Sydney. Its dynamic, diverse and quirky at the same time with exciting retail and fabulous food. Why do I like Crows Nest so much? Here are a few reasons.
Crows Nest offers the best food...
Did I mention the food? Choose from over 100 cafes, restaurants and fast food outlets.
For fabulous quality sandwiches try Simply Sandwiches in Willoughby Road, or Guzman and Gomez for consistently excellent Mexican!
Crows Nest also has sushi galore, my favourite freshest train is the Crows Nest plaza. Great sushi takeaway can be found at The Angry Fish on Willoughby.
For fast fantastic Thai – you cannot go past Tall Lemongrass, also on Willoughby. For under $10 the lunch menu is really delicious. Just go easy on the chili!
For dining – Garfish (always packed and fish cooked perfectly), Peacock Gardens an old Crows Nest establishment serving top quality Chinese, or any of the great Indian or Japanese restaurants. For yum cha you can’t go past Sea Treasure in Willoughby Road.
...and the best coffee!
Crows Nest has some of the best coffee in Sydney. From Café 117 on Alexander Street - relaxed, local - great Campos coffee, to really almost every single café in the area. A recent newcomer to the café scene is Fresh in Burlington Street. They have delicious, organic menu options and biodynamic wine (delicious!!).
The Crow Zone is an oldie but a goodie and deserves a visit. St Malos Bakery, Jamies Kitchen and Boulangene Patisserie. Also, Crows Nest Bakery at the top of Willoughby Road opposite Thomas Dux sells the best lemon tarts! If you would like a drink and something to nibble, try Small Bar, Stoned Crow or Cornerstone. The pumpkin salad I had recently at The Stoned Crow was one of the best meals I’ve had in ages.
Crows Nest is a great place to take a break from work
Crows Nest is also a destination for Corporate Companies wanting to give their staff great places to ‘break out’ and have lunch. The focus is now on the staff – not the boss!! Companies want their staff to be happy and have everything they need around them. Being only two minutes from North Sydney and five minutes from the city CBD.
As I tell my prospective tenants, you can take a friend to lunch, impress a client, buy your mum a birthday gift and your wife a new outfit! And it’s all less than 5 minutes from our doorstep.
Enjoy a central location with an easy parking
Crows Nest is a great central location with buses and transport a couple of minutes away and a taxi rank a short walk away.
Parking is also easier in Crows Nest, with choices of council car parks, street meters or one hour street parking.
We’ve got shoe repairers, drycleaners, every bank, post office, gorgeous giftware shops and supermarkets including the incredible Thomas Dux.
Once you settle into your office in Crows Nest you really don’t need to leave it! In fact, Crows Nest is such a foodie destination; many of our tenants make their meetings at lunch time to take advantage of this!
After many years in Crows Nest I still haven’t eaten my way around it! But I’m having fun trying! So if you are looking for a serviced office destination that ticks all the boxes, that is commercial but has a bold and bright personality with an edge – Crows Nest has it!
